An Oakland County jury awarded former client, Yasmin Vora, $167,000 and decided the now 70something, Ken was guilty of silent fraud. Years later, Kenny got it overturned on appeal but the jury of his peers decided that he defrauded the poor woman.
After settling the divorce action plaintiff filed this action against defendant, Ken Prather of Grosse Point, alleging that defendant’s innocent misrepresentation, legal malpractice, actual fraud, and silent fraud...
Ultimately, the trial court entered a judgment in this case awarding plaintiff $167,000 in damages on the silent fraud count.
